Chuck E. Cheese: Family Fun at New Remodel which features updated games, All You Can Play, delicious food experiences and fun for the whole family!
Recently, my family and I were invited to the newly remodeled Chuck E. Cheese at 2601 W. Lake Ave. Peoria, IL for their ribbon cutting and an evening of fun.
I cannot even begin to express what a good time was had by all!
From the games, dancing, the food and prizes, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, yes even the adults!
My husband and I joined right in on the fun. I even beat him in Football Toss AND Basketball. Bragging rights for days!!
We started our evening with a ribbon cutting to kickoff the evening
Afterwards, we headed inside to get our wearable play bands so we could participate in “All you can Play.”
In my opinion, this is the most genius thing at Chuck E. Cheese. The kids wear the bands, the parents set the time limit or the Play Points, and they’re off.
They can play games until their time is up or it can be reloaded with additional time or Play Points. There’s kiosks throughout the gaming area so you can keep track of your “balance.”
Best part, play points never expire so you can bring the bands back on your next visit.
Now kids can play more games and win more tickets which means more prizes! YAY!
This is also great in the event you have a child who can’t keep track of their belongings (like my son) and who would lose the Play Pass card. The bands are comfortable and click right on.
Once we all had our bands on, we hit the games…running!
I was all over the Skee ball because I’ve loved it since I was a kid.
My daughter, she hit the clock ride which gave me major nostalgia because I use to ride it when I was little.
After about an hour of play, we ordered our food. Pizza, breadsticks and a salad for all. Delish!
They have a new approach to their kitchen which features an open kitchen where you can watch the pizza making process.
They also feature a delicious salad bar chocked full of the freshest ingredients.
If the kids happen to have a day off from school, or you have smaller ones at home, Monday – Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., they offer a lunch buffet.
With this new remodel and fresh approach to food, Chuck E. Cheese has really upped their game. It truly appeals to the whole family!
I’ll admit, I hadn’t had Chuck E. Cheese pizza in a very long time and I was blown away. It was absolutely delicious! As were the breadsticks!
The new design also features more of a restaurant feel so parents can chill out while kids can head off to the game area and play games until their hearts content.
In addition to a dozen new games and fresh food, Chuck E. Cheese also has an all-new light up dance floor and my kids showed the whole place their moves.
Chuck E. Cheese and friends also hit the dance floor and threw out tickets to those who were busting a move.
I don’t think we’ve laughed and enjoyed ourselves that much in awhile. We had such a blast and we can’t wait to go back!
We cashed in our whopping load of tickets and each kid got to pick out some fun prizes!
I also have to give a HUGE shout out to the staff and management at the Peoria, IL Chuck E. Cheese. They went above and beyond for our family and were the kindest people.
Thank you Rogelio, Joe and Becky! It was a huge pleasure to get to check out the fabulous new store. Thank you for your hospitality!
We came. We Saw. We Conquered. And we can’t WAIT to go back!
Let me know what your favorite thing about the newly remodeled Chuck E. Cheese is?
Also, what’s your favorite game to play? I will forever love Skee-ball.
