Super pretty and sparkly Halloween colors such as pink, silver and black make this Pink-O-Ween Candy Bark fun and creative. Share it with the pink lover in your life! ?
My daughter loves the color pink. Her costume this year is Lippy Lips from Shopkins. It’s pink, on pink, on pink. It’s super adorable, super girly and describes her to a T.
My husband and I were watching tv the other day and commercial upon commercial was for a scary movie.
I asked him why everything had to be so scary these days. His response, “well it’s almost Halloween.” True but what about fun and hilarious Halloween movies that stand the test of time, ahem Hocus Pocus!
So that’s how this Pink-O-Ween Candy Bark was born. I was on a mission to make a Halloween bark, different from last year, that featured pink, black and silver which I think is super fun, creative and cool for the Halloween holiday.
When I was a little kid, I loved scary movies. For my sister and I, the scarier the better. As I become older, scary movies were out. No thank you. I don’t need the wits scared out of me for pleasure. I’d rather watch “The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown,” “The Addams Family” or “BeetleJuice”
I love making barks because you can make them for any occasion. They’re essential at Christmas, leftover Halloween candy works or make it for a baby shower as a parting gift.
These days there are so many different colors of candy melts, you can go crazy with ideas for all sorts of things.
I just ran to the store and grabbed anything that I saw that was pink, silver and black. I might have gone a little crazy myself but I think it turned out pretty fun.
My kids like to get involved as well because 1. Candy 2. Chocolate 3. Free reign to do whatever they want and pretty much mess free. That’s a win all around!
I challenge you this year to take the scary out of Halloween. With so many things happening in the World today, let’s turn something associated with “scary” into fun, sparkly and enjoyable.
In the kitchen, making this Pink-O-Ween Candy Bark, is definitely a great place to start!
