It excites me to no end.

I love nothing more than inviting people over for game night, pool parties, sporting events and just because.

The first step when planning to have people over, the food.

The universal love language of food, chicken wings.

That’s why recently I decided to make a chicken wing platter with all the fixins from my local Jewel-Osco, to have our friends over for game night.

It’s a chicken wing charcuterie board if you will!

When the weather turns cold, it’s great to invite the friends over for game night.

We’ll gather around the table, with a deck of cards and this chicken wing platter and laugh for hours.

And when the weather turns warm, we head outside to the pool and this chicken wing platter is perfect for that too.

The most important tip when it comes to entertaining, don’t stress out.

Take store bought shortcuts to help you out along the way.

With an array of items that you can quickly and conveniently purchase from Jewel-Osco, this chicken wing platter come together in a snap.

I started by grabbing 3 types of wings from the wing bar; honey, buffalo and zing.

Conveniently located right by the wing bar are sauces and what are wings without some sauces?

I snatched up some ranch, honey mustard and buffalo sauce to add to the platter.

Next, came the veggie tray. A party isn’t complete without one of these.

Then in-house guacamole and pico de gallo and some tortilla chips to go along.

Finally, I grabbed some additional items to fill out the platter. Sliced cucumbers, an avocado and popcorn.

Have you ever tried popcorn with buffalo sauce before? Do it and I promise you’ll never eat popcorn plain again.

Lastly, I grabbed some pop. Good ole fashioned Signature Select Root Beer.

I was in and out of Jewel-Osco within 15 minutes with an entire chicken wing platter ready to be made.

This chicken wing platter was a HIT! There was something for everyone, except leftovers for us the next day!

I must say, not only was this chicken wing platter delicious, it was super fun to make and it’s bursting with colors.
