Savory bites of gooey cheese and garlic, these Garlic Cheese Bombs will be your new go to appetizer, snack or side dish for any occasion!
If one thing is for certain, it’s the love of sports in this house. Specifically baseball and football. ⚾?
As the baseball seasons winds down and the air turns cool, you can find us at the local High school football games on Friday nights and on Sundays sporting our blue and orange jerseys in front of the t.v. with a large spread of food. Football is what gets us through the brutal, long and cold winters here in the Midwest!
When I was in high school, the Friday night football games were the highlight of the week. We’d head down there with a group of friends, hit the concessions stand and watch our classmates play and cheer on the field.
I remember seeing kids there and the enthusiasm on their faces as they watched the game. I’d think, I can’t wait to have a family and bring them to games.
Now that I do have a family, not only have we attended a few games, but my 5-year-old daughter will be cheering on the high school football field, at the end of the month, for a cheerleading camp. She cannot wait and I can’t wait to watch her from the stands with a permanent smile on my face! ? Go Purple + Gold! ??
As I said, with football comes food and that’s a close second to our love of the game. I headed into Wal-Mart to grab a few pizzas, some pizza dough and a salad. I grabbed a few varieties of Tony’s pizza; Tony’s® Pizzeria Style Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza and Tony’s® Pizzeria Style Cheese Pizza
Tony’s pizzeria recipe gives Tony’s Pizza a taste that’s as delicious as it is authentic. They’re been making pizza for over 50 years so you know it’s good!
Whenever we are having pizza, we always have to have some sort of garlic bread stick to go alongside. My husband and son can put down a whole box if I’d let them! I also like to throw in a salad to round out the whole meal.
I decided to make garlic cheese bombs for the hungry football goers which are super simple, delicious and a crowd pleaser. These are also perfect for game day watching as they’re bite size and who doesn’t love a dipper.
All you need is your favorite pizza dough, mozzarella cheese sticks, some butter and seasonings. 25 minutes in the oven and you’ll have pizza and garlic cheese bombs ready on the table to satisfy the fans!
How can anyone resist that ooey, gooey cheese. I especially like when the cheese spills out and creates crispy bites. These garlic cheese bombs are the perfect accompaniment to Tony’s Pizza. Who doesn’t love a good breadstick with their delicious pizza?

Everyone devoured these garlic cheese bombs. Needless to say, I think I need to make a second skillet next time. Between the pizza and the garlic cheese bombs, there were no leftovers. Guess this mama will be grabbing a bag of popcorn at the game tonight or stocking up on a few more Tony’s pizza next time!!

These look so yummy! I love anything that combines bread and cheese, I mean who doesn’t?! I also love the idea of dipping them in a marinara sauce, we make our own every year (my hubby is Italian) so I need to get on these cheese bombs to share with everyone!

This looks like the PERFECT party food! I don’t like pizza, but I love stuff like this. Maybe the sauce/bread ratio is better for me? I dunno. But, yum.
