I love nothing more than enjoying a grilled burger, on the patio, in the summer months. What I don’t love is feeling sluggish and tired after eating a huge, beefy burger. After I enjoy the meal, I don’t want to feel like I need a nap. I’m heading right back into the pool on my lounge chair.
By using Jennie-O turkey burgers, which now come in a variety of flavors, has the same great taste as those other burgers but with less guilt to help keep your health and weight goals in check during the summertime and all year round for that matter.
What’s even better than a turkey burger? Topping that bad boy with a relish made of cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese and kalamata olives. Sometimes I eat that alone but topped onto a Jennie-O turkey burger with cucumber dill tzatziki is a game changer!
As I said in my Chicken Casesar Burger post, I have been on a burger kick lately. I truly love burgers, of any kind, but some of them hold a special place in my heart.
I’m a huge fan of turkey burgers, chicken burgers, even black bean burgers. While I enjoy the occasional beef burger, I am a health conscious person (most of the time) and just can’t eat beef all of the time.
Up until a few years ago, I was the worst burger maker ever. Until I discovered this burger press and now I’m much better, but when I’m in a hurry, I love to grab these Jennie-O turkey burgers that are already pattied for you.
As I said earlier, they now come in a few more flavors, and you can locate them near you here.
