If you love slider sandwiches, you’ve GOT to try these Fried Chicken Sliders
We love to entertain, so recently before we were having people over for a football game, I was thinking of something simple, easy and delicious I could whip up.
My mind wandered to a submarine shop I use to frequent with my dad, when I was a little girl.
They had the best Italian sandwiches with a homemade submarine dressing.
Bingo! I’d make Italian sandwich sliders for our hungry crowd of football fans.
A quick stop at the store to pick up some slider buns, Margherita® Thick Sliced Pepperoni, Margherita® Genoa Salami (located in the deli) and cheese and I was on my way home.
Margherita® cracker cut items are perfect for these slider sandwiches.
They’re also great for dinnertime, snacking and cheese boards.
What I love about these Italian Sandwich Sliders is how easy they are to prepare. BONUS! We serve them cold so there is no oven time required!

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT THESE PARTY SANDWICHES
- Can they be made ahead of time?
- Because of the fresh ingredients (lettuce, tomato and dressing), I do not recommend making these ahead of time.
- Can these be hot sandwich?
- Yes! However, I would heat the sandwiches with just the bottom bun, meats and cheeses. Then once they come out of the oven, add the tomato, lettuce, dressing and top bun. I do not recommend heating the lettuce and tomato unless you like a toasty sandwich with all the fixings hot.
Italian sandwich sliders are super easy to prepare and will take less than 10 minutes to make!
