The bakery soft sugar cookies you know and love decorated in bright and fun colors to resemble the residents of Whoville from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
If you’re a fan of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, check out these Grinch Sandwich Cookies.
One of my very favorite things to do when I was a kid was watch, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
Not much has changed since then but now I have my own kids to watch it with which make it much more special.
This year, before watching the movie, my daughter and I decided to make cookies. You know the delicious Lofthouse cookies you see in the bakery and can’t help but purchase.
We were inspired to make these cookies with bright and fun colors thanks to Sprinkle Pop’s “Fahoo Fores Sprinkles.”
They’re chocked full of pinks, reds, turquoise blue and lime green. They might be the prettiest sprinkles I’ve ever seen!
These Whoville Cookies are soft, buttery pillows of Heaven. They taste almost identical to the Lofthouse cookies you purchase at the store.
Then we topped them with a vanilla buttercream and then my daughter went crazy with the sprinkles.
While my whole house may be decorated in the class Red and Green Christmas colors, I have such a fondness for pink, green and turquoise colored decorations. They just make my heart go pitter patter.
Soft and Buttery, these Whoville Cookies takes just like those Lofthouse cookies you’ve come to know and love!

Cooks Tip: I found these cookies are best chilled and then baked. Chill the dough for at least an hour, and then set out at room temperature 30 minutes prior to baking.
Make sure you check out the Sprinkle Pop Shop for more eye candy!
And when it comes to flavoring vanilla buttercream, I love to use Adams Extract ClearVan. It’s clear vanilla extract which tastes delicious and doesn’t tint your white buttercreams!
